Full name, Thomas Luther Bryan is professionally known as Luke Bryan was born (July 17, 1976) in Leesburg, Georgia, United States. He is an American country music songwriter and singer. He went to college at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro and joined the Sigma Chi fraternity. In 1999, he graduated with Bachelors in Business administration degree.
He ventured into musical career in the mid 2000s. He began by writing songs for his long time friends from high school and released his first spring break album. Later he moved to Nashville, where he got signed by Capitol Nashville recording studio. In 2007, he released debut album, I’ll Stay Me. The album’s second single, “We Rode in Trucks” reached number 33. Before the album, he co-wrote Good Directions by Billy Currington’s. It went to number 1 Hot Country Songs charts. He also co-wrote his debut single, All My Friends Say. The song went number 5 on Hot Country Songs.
In 2009, he released an EP coined Spring Break with All my friends, followed by fourth single “DO I” the same year. The song reached number 2 on the list of the Hot Country Songs. Next year, he released second EP titled, Spring Break 2…Hangover Edition. On April 2010, he also appeared on the episode of Celebrity Apprentice.
His fourth studio album, Crash My Party got out on August, 2013. The album’s single, Crash My Party got number 1 in 2013 Country Airplay chart. He released his fifth album, Kill the Lights on August 2015. The lead single from the album, Kick the Dust Up became 13th number 1 hit. He co-wrote all of his singles and co-produced all the four albums.
Till date he has sold 7+ million albums and 27+ million singles across the globe. He also won numerous awards such as Academy of Country Music Awards and Country Music Association Awards.
