Cole Swindell is an American born country music singer and songwriter. Born on June 30, 1983, his full name is Colden Rainey “Cole” Swindell.
He grew up in Glennville, Georgia with two brothers. He attended Georgia Southern University and did major in marketing. He was a fellow Sigma Chi member and met Luke Bryan in the same university.
The two guys kept in touch and after Swindell moved to Nashville; he began selling merchandise for three years to Bryan. Later in 2010, he signed a deal with Sony / ATV Music publishing.
He wrote songs for many singers including Craig Campbell’s ‘Outta My Head’, Luke Bryan’s ‘Just a Sip’, ‘In Love with the Girl’ and more. Likewise he also co-wrote Florida Georgia Line’s ‘This is how we roll’.
In 2013, he released solo debut “Chillin’ It”, that went to become very popular on the satellite radio channel “The Highway”.

It reached Country Airplay chart number 1 song in April 2015. In 2014, he released a five song digital EP, named “The Down Home Sessions”.
